Mubla Na Thguob Didn't know this even existed until seeing the name pop up in Youtube comment sections several times. Finally, looked them up and was blown away. While, I usually don't care about highly technical playing, these guys shift into nice harmonies that balance things out very nicely making for a very enjoyable listen. Favorite track: Rubin.

Pavlos Mavridis Amazing sound and remarkable evolution on their music in relation to their first EP. Love their vocals and the use of some female voices. Favorite track: Rubin.

Bucky Absolutely fantastic blend of progressive metal and melodic rock. A nice break from the grind of repetitive Sabbath riffs. Hints of Mastodon progression with a highly more tolerable vocal and some super slick guitar shredding throughout! My kind of metal!

about

Stonebringer’s debut album, titled “Those Winds”, delivers nine progressive, post metal songs.

"Those Winds” incorporates aggressive metal sounds with progressive rock vibes. Through the whole album, the heavy guitars, the interplay between the vocals and the technical rhythm section lead the way. Folk instruments along with female vocals often supplement the sound, creating a time-travelling essence.

By letting the songs grow in their own pace, Stonebringer unfold their musical stories and lyrics in a dramatic sequence that represents the spirit of their debut album.

Track Name: Rubin
His father was the will of earths and seas
The ignorance would take care of his needs
That corpse was decomposed by a senseless sun
Now take away my rottin' smell, you raw wind

That will forged the gods and their sons
Swore to, keep their eyes out of time

His father was the will of earths and seas
The ignorance would take care of his needs
And as they turned their backs and walked away
The more they felt it's mortal pain, through their veins

That will, sparkles with the knowledge
Of time, decent eyes fold in lies

You 're the sun of will, and red skies cry out
You got too far away
Track Name: Flesh & Bones
Have you seen captain's blood coloring our sails
Then watch them being damped with it
We 'll carve his name on the mast with our nails
And await the dawn silently
Have we not swore to the seas and the waves that we tear?
For we shall die
Our only witness the sea and the sky

Cursed by our gods, by strange winds we 're led
The deck now can't hold us on 'till the end
Now it's the time when our vows turn into flesh and bones
For we shall die
Our only witness the sea and the sky

Marked our skins
The rust of the anchor now tears the sea
Track Name: The Poet Of Gold
And the universe recites, poems you fear
Did you bow your head as cries, praise the dreamer

May the words of the poet of gold, be the lyrics
Of your most underrated song, Left in pieces

And your senses will beg for signs
As these lines here, will flood with life

And choices shrunken to an olden backbreaking path
Became the moments that you sung and lived just for once

You never had the patience to count down, as you should
The phases of your present as it goes, goes full moon
Track Name: Stonebringer
Black stones rolling, when he reached that mile, crossroad's whisper makes him smile
"Since you 're down your heart turns into stone, but your mind is empty as you go"

Well she was a living myth, and poems for romantic knights she would sing
"Lay your hands on me"

And that shadow with the charming eyes, grabbed his hand and talked so wise
"Since you 're down your heart turns into stone, but your mind is empty as you go"

He walks through the burning sand. "Second thoughts are for losers now near the end"
Poems of hers, and hope. But the weight can't hold him now till the dawn

And that stone, gave me will. Let me be your holy knight
The same eyes, stare at you. Same eyes, you romantic fool
Track Name: Pan
Sung for the richest kingdoms and for the filthiest hells.
These words were never so intense, “I need you hollow”
Those harmonies you can't trust, you dreamt for nights and days,
So scared to lose your certain way, “I need you hollow”

To lull in your heart all three, pieces of my own needs
Let them rest and feed from these dreams, as nerves keep on bleeding
Did we meet here just by chance, just to hear a worthless song
Or those needs have now to be born, “I' ll sing for you know”

I 'll sing for you now, the receiver of distant echoes
With distorted notes I run through those, same points of these old circles
The frequencies match, just for this time, above this space
And you beat your heart made of lust, three times, above this space

With dare I grow, with doubt I go strong, and the thirst to mix all above, and below
Walked beside you only for one time, the most beautiful thing I 've ever done
Oh you great human sense
Track Name: Dead Kid's Blues
Hey son don't sort out your own pathways, just ask from the sky above
to give you his drugs. They 'll take out all the moon and the stars
And there you are in the womb of the naked night
where all the roads are the same and painted in black.
Don't give a fuck to choose the right one

You still don't know, where that road leads you, curse the sun,
curse the light of the dawn. Let it go, the night may kiss you
Smells like booze, smoke and weed and blues
Now I can see you have that weird love for your doom
Your heart's bleeding to keep this ride yours

And the beast came unleashed and it can't be tamed. At least that's
what he thinks when the roads have no end. Dear son I wish I could
live again. And show you all the roads that killed me
Show you all the roads that killed me

You still don't know, where that road leads you. Curse the sun, curse
the light of the dawn. Let it go, the night may kiss you
Smells like booze, smoke and weed and blues
Now I can see you have that weird love for your doom
Your heart's bleeding to keep this ride yours

But just like when I met you so charmed by your doom.Keep playing this tune, keep playing
this tune. Like when I met you so charmed by
your doom. Keep playing this tune, keep playing this tune
And every change that you dare to make. This fuckin' sky will always
remain the same. You bend your head and you keep your own way

My son, but I know, the road will pick you. And on that night,
I 'll stand by your side. And if the sun, forgets to rise up
Play this tune, sing the dead kid's blues
Track Name: Vrahnas
And the bones of the moon, brighten skies, grow up tides
On the sea, a road of light, shrouds the tears, muffles cries
And those oars, tune your heart, in a cruel lullaby

And death fades out the song of life
Those winds don't shed a tear cause,
Those winds, with you they sigh
Track Name: Depression(Offered To Carry Us)
I fear, that our nature's the same, reflects, only four shades of grey
Will you blossom close to me so I can breathe?
And what, what if we sank and let rot, and give, one last chance to these grey hordes
Those hordes that sing the dirge of the dead spring of ours, And lay us down

Ten steps of mine, seem only one to you proud as you should.
At least I can move on, with this weight on my tireless back,
(those notes in my mind) For so long

And my own soul, roars and sings inside my fists, treats and serves our will
With time I saw, that my own needs weight more, far more than my dreams

And I was thrilled to death that I could barely stand, I can barely stand
And my own soul roars and sings inside my fists, treats and serves our will

My eyes don't burn like they used to do, but I saw more than I could
I saw our quivering steps that prove it's all down to a warm luring tune
My ears hear more than they used to grasp, the roars that tear down our hands
Depression offered to carry us, the weight was lost from our backs

But, but I need this more, more than I could think.
And lay us down.
Track Name: Emerald
I was like a baron wasteland with, no water left into my dead hands
I was like a breeze with no same, scattered beyond the oceand and our lands
Then the sun was lured by the needs of the moon
Spread his light upon her body of blue

And this emerald stays, hidden in weaknesses, it shines but, can you see?
And the wind draws away all that remains the same
Oh golden rays of bliss I 'm not your shade

I was like a baron wasteland, with no water left into my dead hands
I was like a breeze with no same, scattered beyond the oceand and our lands
Then the moon gave birth to a cold human end
On and on a strict mother's grabbing your neck

And this emerald stays, hidden in weaknesses, it shines but , can you see?
And the wind draws away all that remains the same
Oh human parts of the moon I am your slave

Lull the earth and let the flame alone, breath the air beneath this static shore
Gently let the sun to warm, let the cold blue moon to mourn
Can you take the gold out of this stone?

And I 've reached the one
